Is Edema With Adjacent Small Partial Thickness Tear Myotendinous Of The Supraspinatus as Per An MRI Report A Concern?
MRI- There is curved under surface to the acromion and moderate acromiclavicular degenerative change with inferior osteophytes abutting the myotendinous junction of the supraspinatus where there is edema with adjacent small partial thickness tear myotendinous of the supraspinatus
The MRI shows presence of ostephytes in the scapular bone. Scapula is the bone present on upper back. Osteophytes are bony projections which is a degenerative change which occurs as age advances. The osteophytes are causing pressure symptoms on surrounding structures. I suggest you to consult your orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
